Melinda holds a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance and a Master of Music in Vocal Pedagogy from Texas Woman’s University, with continued studies at Shenandoah Conservatory. As a vocalist, Melinda has performed with the Denton Light Opera Company, Deep Ellum Opera Theatre, Helios Ensemble, Fort Worth Early Music Society, Casa Manana, and in solo recital. In addition to serving as TWCD’s Artistic Director, Melinda is a member of the full-time music faculty at Eastfield College in the Dallas County Community College District. She also maintains a busy private vocal studio and is a frequent clinician and adjudicator for choral groups and soloists.
Mandy is a cellist, music educator, and strategic arts business leader. She graduated from Southern Methodist University with a B.A. in Music where she studied with soloist Andrés Díaz, and continued on to earn an M.M. in Music Education. As a professional cellist, Mandy has performed all over the world in symphonies, chamber ensembles, and as a soloist. Before joining the TWCD team, Mandy has held administrative and leadership positions with institutions such as Asheville Music School, Lakewood Conservatory of Fine Arts, and Texas Music Institute in addition to maintaining an active private lesson studio.
Timothy Sanchez is a student at the University of North Texas pursuing a B.M in Music Theory and a B.M in Music Education. He serves as an active chorister for university ensembles, A Capella and Vox Aquilae and serves as an accompanist for Camerata and Upfront. When not in class, he works in the DFW metroplex as a freelance pianist and sacred musician. He collaborates with vocal studios and retains an active recital schedule.
