Artistic Director

Melinda is a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance and a Master of Music in Vocal Pedagogy from Texas Woman’s University, with continued studies at Shenandoah Conservatory.  As a vocalist, Melinda has performed with the Denton Light Opera Company, Deep Ellum Opera Theatre, Helios Ensemble, Fort Worth Early Music Society, Casa Mañana, and in solo recital.  Melinda is a full-time Professor of Music at Dallas College Eastfield Campus.  She also maintains a busy private vocal studio and is a frequent clinician and adjudicator for choral groups and soloists. 

Accompanist

Timothy is a graduate of the University of North Texas with dual bachelor's degrees in  Music Theory and  in Music Education. He serves as an active chorister for the university ensembles A Capella and Vox Aquilae and  as an accompanist for Camerata and Upfront. He works in the DFW metroplex as a freelance pianist and sacred musician. He collaborates with vocal studios and maintains an active recital schedule.

General Manager

Jacky brings more than a decade of nonprofit and community engagement experience to The Women’s Chorus of Dallas, along with a genuine love of bringing people, ideas, and resources together.

Throughout her career, Jacky has led community programs, managed partnerships, supported grant-funded initiatives, and developed educational programs. Her work has centered on helping people navigate complex systems, strengthening community connections, and making programs more accessible, meaningful, and effective.
